At SM Dance, we believe some of life's most meaningful lessons happen beyond the classroom.

Through our partnership with the Heather Moore Foundation and participation in local community events, our dancers have the opportunity to connect, serve, and grow while sharing their love of dance with others.

Heather’s Story

Heather Moore, Kelly's sister, grew up dancing at SM Dance and remained a cherished part of our studio family throughout her life.

Born with Neurofibromatosis, Heather faced life's challenges with extraordinary courage, grace, and unwavering hope. She dedicated her life to caring for others as a career nanny and inspired everyone who knew her through her kindness, compassion, and selflessness.

After a courageous battle, Heather lost her life to triple-negative breast cancer.

Heather's legacy lives on through the Heather Moore Foundation, reminding us all to lead with love and always strive for courage, and hope.

Studio Connection

SM Dance is proud to support the Heather Moore Foundation and its mission of spreading courage and hope.

Each December, immediately following The Dreamer, we host the annual Heather Moore Foundation Gala, where proceeds benefit a community recipient living with courage and hope.

Through this partnership, we encourage our dancers to give back, serve others, and discover the meaningful impact they can have within their community.

Old Home Days Parade
Celebrate with us as we wrap up another wonderful season by parading down Main Street in Williamsville. This annual tradition features a special performance by our dancers, showcasing original choreography created just for the parade, while our youngest dancers proudly walk alongside their families. It's a joyful community event and a fun way to celebrate another incredible year at SM Dance.

Join us as we celebrate equality, inclusion, and love for all at the Buffalo Pride Parade. Our advanced dancers proudly perform choreography while representing the values of kindness, acceptance, and community that are at the heart of SM Dance.
