We are committed to providing engaging instruction while ensuring every dancer feels seen, respected, and supported as they grow in both dance and confidence.
We offer a wide range of classes for dancers of all ages and experience levels, whether you're looking to dance recreationally or make dance your main activity.

With more than 20 years of friendship and 15 years as women-owned business partners, we are proud to celebrate Sherry Martin Dance's 50th season in Williamsville, New York.
Kelly Riter | Co-Owner & Artistic Director
Kelly began dancing at SM Dance at the age of three and proudly carries forward the philosophy and passion for dance inspired by her mentor, Sherry Martin.
After earning a degree in Business with a minor in Dance from Buffalo State College, Kelly spent time teaching, performing, and choreographing in New York City before returning home to become co-owner of SM Dance in 2012.
As Artistic Director, Kelly is passionate about bringing artistry, innovation, and thoughtful attention to detail to every class, production, and studio event, inspiring dancers to reach their full potential both on and off the stage.
Yvonne Frederick | Co-Owner & Ballet Director
Yvonne began her dance training in Albany, New York, where she trained with the Guilderland Ballet Company under nationally recognized instructors.
She joined the SM Dance faculty in 2001 after meeting Kelly while attending Buffalo State College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. After many years of teaching, Yvonne became co-owner of SM Dance in 2012.
Drawing on her background in ballet, design, music, and the arts, she is passionate about creating a positive environment where dancers develop a strong sense of self-worth, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for creativity and the arts.

Jr Assistant Application
At SM Dance, we offer dancers the opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience through our Junior Assistant Program. Applications for the 2026–27 season have already been submitted. If your child is interested in joining the program, applications for the 2027–28 season will be available here in June 2027.
